I'm 17 and my mom won't let me do ANYTHING!?

You need to actually sit down and talk with your mom...and when I mean talk I mean each one of you needs to have a chance to talk while the other listens. It sounds like in your case your mom doesnt like to hear your side too much...so what you need to do is get a timer out and have it next to you both. Whoever speaks first sets the timer for about 2 minutes and the other person has to listen WITHOUT INTERRUPTING (this rule HAS to be stated before you both sit down to talk). Tell your mom how she makes you feel and why you think you are responsible enough and that it really hurts that she doesnt trust you. Let her talk too and see what she has to say. Hopefully you both can come to agreement on your issues. Good luck.
