How can I improve my comprehension in Science Courses?

Here's what I do, expecialy in science. Any time I see a "fact" I ask myself two questions. 1. How can I prove it true? 2. How can I prove it false? Thinking about how we know it's a fact like that helps me understand it, not just remember it.
