Is there an affordable hotel in the Times Square area of Manhatten?

I was thrilled to find the Americana Inn at $95 a night, it is in a great location close to almost everything, the only drawback is that it had shared bathrooms which really turns me off!! Has anyone ever stayed here and can say if the shared baths are bad or not? Or does anyone know of a hotel in this same area that is close in price, im not trying to stay in the most posh place but someplace i dont feel grossed out by, this will be my first time in NYC so any tips would be great!!!
