Do the film hero or heroines have any religionof his / her own?

In India the secular minded hero Salman Khan took part in Hindu rituals in Mumbai and the so called Muslim leaders issued Fatwa agaist his family members ...While the fans are Hindu as well as muslims and also christians ...Indian fans do not see the religion of their hero or heroines... It means the muslims are nopt fan of him. On the one hand We call us secular but religious leaders will not allow us to be secular ... Salman Khan has Hindu , Christian Members also through marriages in his family and they celebrate every rituals of all religions jointly ..then why they have to face criticism or fatawa due to some jealots of their own religion...?!
