When is the appropriate time to have the "Am I your girlfriend discussion?"?

I think a month is a good amount of time to know. Some guys don't ask and just ume that you are together. But I would want to know too. I would tell him 'hey, I told my friend that I was going out with someone'. See what he says... Hopefully he will realize that its time to know where you two stand.
